Teen Speak Up!

Nominations are open now through August 31st
Teens living with epilepsy and a family member have the opportunity to visit the nation's capital to receive advocacy training and meet with their lawmakers to share their experiences and discuss issues that are vital to the epilepsy community. The TSU program supports the Epilepsy Foundation of America’s advocacy priorities to ensure access to quality, physician-directed, person-centered healthcare, funding for epilepsy programs, protection of disability rights, and research and innovation.

ABOUT US
Dedicated to Making an Impact
Since 1983, the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas (EFTX) has ensured that no Texan faces epilepsy alone. Today, we are the largest epilepsy support organization of our kind, serving Southeast, North, and West Texas. Our mission is simple and unwavering: to provide care, community, and hope to our most vulnerable neighbors.
2026 marks a transformative year for Epilepsy Foundation Texas. Building on our advocacy, camps, clinics, mental wellness programs, support groups, and community walks, we are launching the first mobile epilepsy clinic in the United States—bringing free, life-saving neurological care directly to underserved Texas communities.
